Pork in Red Sauce

Combines well with the Red wine NEMEA Bio by Domaine Repanis




What we need

500gr. Boneless Pork Shoulder
5 Potatoes (Cut)
1/2 Cup Olive Oil
1 Onion (Chopped)
1 Clove Garlic (Chopped)
2 Teaspoons Thyme
1/2 Glass of Red Wine
3 Tablespoons of Tomato Paste
Salt & Pepper
3 Glasses of Water

How to prepare

  • Brown the pork with olive oil, together with the onion and the garlic, until golden.
  • Pour in the wine and wait for 1 minute.
  • Add the potatoes and then the thyme, salt and pepper and, stir for a while.
  • At the end, add the tomato paste diluted in 1 glass of water with some sugar.
  • Add the water and leave on medium heat for about 1 hour. If necessary add some water.
