Grapes were sourced from old vines of average 50 years of age, planted in the volcanic, stony soils of Exo Gonia, Akrotiri, Megalochori and Mesaria at an altitude up to 400m.
Fruit-forward nose with red fruit aromas such as strawberries and cherries and spices, while on the palate the wine is quite rich, yet well balanced by refreshing levels of crispy acidity.
Drink at 10-12°C.
A delicious match with Greek cuisine, like the local fried tomato-balls in Santorini, green beans with tomato sauce, ratatouille, stir-fried eggs or different kinds of pasta.
